Department of Homeland Security's West Coast Regional Director M. Martinez, External Affairs, will be speaking to Church United Pastors only on Saturday, May 3, 11:00 am PT. Director Martinez is over California, Oregon, Washington, and additional cities Salt Lake City and Houston. This is a closed meeting for pastors only and will not be recorded; video and photos of the meeting will not be permitted, as requested by DHS. The webinar will last 1.5 - 2 hours. DHS Representative M. Martinez will share about DHS and Immigration Customs and Enforcement's (ICE) impact on our communities and the daily changing policies of the department stemming from Executive Orders from President Trump.
Attorneys Esther Clayton Valdes and Bob Tyler, and Pastors Netz Gomez and Jim Domen are working on a letter to change U.S. Policy in hopes of fixing our immigration system. Pastors and influencers will be invited to sign the open letter. Select pastors will be invited to our trip to Washington, D.C. to present Church United's solution to Majority Leader Thune, Speaker Johnson, and other key lawmakers.
